Licensing Details.
SPACE TRAVEL is licenced by Sevenoaks
District Council. The company is required to hold an Operator's Licence,
reviewed by the local authority every three years.
Each vehicle is required to pass a 6 monthly examination, alongside random testing,
in addition to the government Department of Transport vehicle standards. Certificates
of insurance for the purpose of hire and reward are also required.
All drivers are subject to periodic examination, including police and medical
checks.
 SPACE
TRAVEL was
delighted to receive the first corporate award for the Sevenoaks D.C. area in
respect of "Welcome Host" management. This is a joint inititiave between the
SSEETB and Sevenoaks D.C. and seeks to promote :
- the importance of tourism to England.
- the importance of providing good customer care to visitors to England.
- the importance of developing communication skills in providing visitors with
good service.
- the importance of presenting accurate information to visitors.
